Worship Thursday at TAO was packed with notable names kicking off fight weekend early. Hometown favorites The Killers were spotted in the nightclub, enjoying  cocktails and Jager Bombs while taking in the sounds of DJ Five. The NFL was well represented with Fred Taylor of the Patriots, free agent Jevon Kerase and Roscoe Parrish and Marcus Stroud of the Buffalo Bills, who were spotted hanging with the cast of VH1’s Real Chance of Love. Washington Redskins Larry Johnson and Clinton Portis and Brandon Marshall of the Miami Dolphins were also spotted in the crowd.

Super model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Selita Ebanks, who is in town to host at LAVO on Friday and attend Saturday’s season grand opening of TAO Beach, dined at TAO before heading up to a VIP table in the nightclub.

Former light middle weight world champion and current middle weight contender Ronald Lamont “Winky” Wright was spotted at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Thursday night (April 29) dining at Johnny Smalls. Joined by a large group of friends, the boxing star arrived for a late dinner around 10 pm.

Tuesday night LAVO took a trip back to the 90’s with Rob Base and LA Gear leading the way. Base hopped on the LAVO catwalk and gave the club goers a lesson in old-school hip hop, singing a line from a 90’s song and then making the crowd sing the next line. Everyone joined in as he sang two of his hits “It Takes Two”, which holds a spot on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop, and “Joy & Pain”.

In the crowd enjoying the flashback were couples from the VH1 series Tough Love Couples. “High School Sweethearts” Dustin and Courtney were joined by Dennis and Simone, the “Now or Never” couple and Pawel and Danielle, who are dubbed “the Role Reversals” on the show. The group drank cocktails and took in the 90’s scene.

Sgt. Pepper Live” featuring Cheap Trick, a dazzling musical experience featuring world-famous rock stars, the Sgt. Pepper Symphony Orchestra and a live interpretation of one of the most beloved rock albums in history, will take the stage for a limited engagement beginning June 11 at the Paris Las Vegas Theatre.

The Lion King performing at the Mandalay Bay Hotel is still by far one of the premiere shows on the strip, celebrating its anniversary we will be doing a feature on this show throughout the month of May.

Sunday night Vince Neil was spotted at LAVO. The rocker arrived just after midnight and drank Veuve Clicquot Champagne while taking in the sounds of DJ Vice. Neil was very friendly, mingling and taking pictures with fans.

Friday night Raiderette Erica Arana celebrated her 33rd birthday at LAVO after spending the day with friends at TAO Beach. Spotted in the group at the dance floor table was Darrius Heyward-Bey, a wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders.

Saturday night Courtney Love hosted at TAO in celebration of the release of “Nobody’s Daughter,” the new album from Hole. She arrived wearing a Balenciaga dress and headed up to the moat sky box overlooking the entire club. Love, who stuck to drinking Pellegrino, was presented with a cake and just after 1 am she surprised the crowd by taking the stage for an impromptu performance. After asking if anyone remembered MTV Unplugged she sang “Pacific Coast Highway” and “Someone Else’s Bed,” accompanied by Mico, a member of her band who played guitar.

Spotted at TAO watching the performance from a VIP table was Chazz Palminteri. The actor joined Jason Strauss at the owner’s table.

AT THE HARD ROCK HOTEL

Saturday night at Vanity, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Adrian Grenier and Brandon Davis all walked in together to enjoy DJs Eric DLux and Lil Jon’s sets.

Newly single Paris and Nicky partied all through the night, not worried about getting any rest before Paris’s appearance at Rehab. Brandon kept a low profile.

Adrian also stayed low key and had a pretty lady by his side the whole time. They left at 2 to go gamble in the High Limits Room.

Tyra Banks visited Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil at ARIA Resort & Casino. Following dinner at Julian Serrano at ARIA, Tyra and two America’s Next Top Model producers were treated to backstage tour.

The tour took place as everyone was preparing for the 9:30pm performance. Cast members took a break from getting ready for the show to find Tyra backstage. Everyone was thrilled to be able to meet her and she was incredibly generous and gracious. One cast member shouted “I love you Tyra!”

After the tour, the group was joined by Tyra’s mom and two friends. After the show, they went to HAZE nightclub at ARIA.

Enrique Iglesias, on a photo shoot in Vegas for his upcoming album, took a break from the set at the Palms Casino Resort on Thursday night to check out Playboy Club, where Bunny Tiffany presented him with a key to the club.
