Espinoza Paz, known as “the people’s singer/songwriter,” has announced his first U.S. national tour, Nace Una Estrella (A Star is Born). The two-time Latin Billboard Award winner will be making a stop on Saturday, July 17 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Right after a recent and very successful sold out show at the Los Angeles Nokia theater in conjunction with prestigious live entertainment company AEG, the need emerged for the first Espinoza Paz tour throughout various cities in the united states: “Nace una Estrella.”

Espinoza Paz has not only been able to captivate hundreds of thousands of fans around the American Union and Mexico, but he has also gained the respect and admiration from important names in the regional Mexican genre (Jenni Rivera, Banda Cuisillos, El Coyote y su Banda Tierra Santa, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón de René Camacho, Duelo, Sergio Vega, Montéz de Durango) and even, some pop idols like David Bisbal y Thalía to name a few.

Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will take to the road this summer with his band and longtime friend and musical co-conspirator David Lindley. Comprising dates in the U.S. and Europe, the Jackson Browne with David Lindley Tour follows the May 11 release of Love Is Strange (Inside Recordings), a two-CD live set capturing a tour of Spain that Browne and Lindley did in 2006.

Accompanying Jackson Browne and David Lindley on tour will be Browne’s band of almost 20 years: Kevin McCormick (bass), Mark Goldenberg (guitars), Mauricio Lewak (drums) and Jeff Young (keyboards, backing vocals). They’re joined by members (since 2008) Chavonne Stewart and Alethea Mills, vocalists Browne (as a mentor) met in 2001 when they were attending Washington Preparatory High School in South Los Angeles, singing in the school choir.

One of the all-time great American singers/songwriters, Lyle Lovett, will be coming to The Joint this summer. Lovett is a four time Grammy winner and has led a remarkable career which includes 14 albums and over four million records sold. Lyle Lovett and his Large Band will perform at The Joint on Saturday, July 24.

In concert, Lyle Lovett and his Large Band are able to present a musical breadth that very few artists can deliver. The Large Band is a formidable musical collective. It’s a swinging Texas big band one minute; an R&B unit the next; an uptown jazz orchestra the one after that; and then a righteous, gospel outfit. Subtract a few players for a minute and the Large Band becomes a small one, perfectly suited for subtly enhancing the most intimate and understated songs from Lovett’s deep catalog.

Millennium Events presents the next professional MMA Xplosion fight card on July 31 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. This exciting fight card will be headlined by Vitor Vianna, BJ Lacy, Jorge Lopez, and Eric Bradley. Wanderlei Silva prospect Vitor Vianna has been the talk of the town since arriving at Wand Fight Team earlier in 2010. He will debut in Las Vegas on July 31 against BJ “The Beast” Lacy. On the card from Wand Fight Team are crowd favorites Jorge Lopez, JJ Mix and Michele Gutierrez. Them Crooked Vultures–a/k/a Dave Grohl, Joshua Homme and John Paul Jones–will be bringing their tour to The Joint.

The band is touring in support of their debut album that was released in November 2009 on DGC/Interscope Records. The self-produced 13-song record features the debut of the studio versions of the material Them Crooked Vultures unveiled at its August 9 debut at Chicago’s Cabaret Metro and played on a first series of shows throughout a handful of UK and European cities and portions of the eastern U.S., wrapping up with an October 15 appearance at New York’s Roseland Ballroom.

When asked to describe the band’s sound, their response was “It sounds like the guy from Queens of the Stone Age singing and playing guitar with the bass player from Led Zeppelin and the drummer from Nirvana.” Fans are encouraged to come up with their own descriptions when they check out this blend of great musicians at The Joint on April 17.

Fueled By Ramen recording group Paramore has unveiled details of its upcoming headline tour. The tour is set to kick off at the end of April and make a stop in Vegas at The Joint. Support will come from Relient K and fun.

The tour comes hot on the heels of Paramore’s recent European itinerary, a blockbuster trek that saw the Grammy Award-nominated band blowing the roof off of sold-out arenas across the continent, including London’s 12,500-capacity Wembley Arena.

The legendary trio Crosby, Stills and Nash (CSN)—David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash—will tour the western United States in late spring, making a stop at The Joint.

Most recently, CSN was a featured part of the all-star tribute to Neil Young – their longtime partner in Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – at NARAS’ 2010 Person of the Year gala honoring Young that kicked off this year’s GRAMMY® weekend festivities.

In October 2009, CSN played at historic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. CSN was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. David Crosby has also been previously inducted for The Byrds, and Stephen Stills with Buffalo Springfield; at this year’s 2010 ceremony, Graham Nash will be dual-honored as well when The Hollies join the fold.

Also in 2009, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash were inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame at a June 18 ceremony in New York City. That same month marked Rhino Records’ release of Demos. Featuring 12 previously unreleased tracks recorded between 1968 and 1971, Demos spotlights destined-to-be-classic songs later heard on CSN’s group and solo titles.

CSN’s music immediately became a cornerstone of rock ‘n roll with the group’s self-titled 1969 debut LP, now one of Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” That same year, they were honored with the GRAMMY award for Best New Artist. 1970’s Déjà Vu—another “500 Greatest”—followed, the first album from the group’s four-man line-up with Neil Young (CSN&Y). Ever since—through changing times and various configurations—Crosby, Stills & Nash have continued to tour and record as “three together.”

Tracy Morgan, star of NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning “30 Rock,” will be bringing his live stand-up show to The Joint this summer.

As a stand-up comic who has headlined across the country, Morgan was first introduced to television audiences in his role as “Hustleman” on the hit comedy series “Martin.” He went on to join “Saturday Night Live” in 1996 where he appeared for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as “Astronaut Jones” and “Brian Fellows.” After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series “The Tracy Morgan Show” and voiced “Spoonie Luv” on Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers.”

Morgan currently stars on “30 Rock” along with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as “Tracy Jordan,” the unpredictable star of Lemon’s (Fey) hit variety show, “TGS with Tracy Jordan.” This year Morgan received his first Emmy Nomination for this role, in the Supporting Actor category; he has in three past years also been nominated for a Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The “30 Rock” cast won in 2009 the Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.”

This upcoming year will be a busy one for Morgan. First up is Kevin Smith’s COP OUT. In the dark feature, he stars with Bruce Willis as two cops given the grim tasks of locating a stolen baseball card to pay for a wedding, rescuing a kidnapped woman, and combating gangsters whose main goals are laundering money and elevating the death count in Brooklyn. In April, Morgan will star in the comedy DEATH AT A FUNERAL for Screen Gems. The film, a remake of the 2007 British movie of the same name, also features Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Zoe Saldana, and Danny Glover. The independent romantic comedy feature NAILED (from David O. Russell) in which Morgan also appears (alongside Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal) will be released later in 2010.

Best known for their ska and reggae vocal talents, Jamaican musical group Toots and the Maytals take over the FNL stage this May. Hip hop group De La Soul has been entertaining fans with their eclectic music and quirky lyrics since 1987. Jam-heavy rock group Rusted Root returns to the FNL stage for a fourth year in a row. The band, formed in the early 1990’s, will play new songs from their 2009 album Stereo Rodeo as well as old fan favorites. After experiencing Rusted Root live, it is clear that the multicultural rock and soul band refuses to let anything interfere with the beautiful collaboration of music they are known for creating.

Alternative rock group the Gin Blossoms have had a significant influence on modern rock due to their consolidation of melodic rock, folk and country elements. The band has produced a string of hits during their lengthy career such as “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You,” “Mrs. Rita,” “Allison Road,” and “Til I Hear It From You.” Another hit song, “Follow You Down,” can be found in the box office smash, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.

Touring non-stop since arriving on the Southern California coast from Hawaii’s Big Island over 11 years ago, Pepper bring their unique reggae rock sound to the FNL stage following the release of their fifth studio album, Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations. After seeing Pepper live, it is clear that the group focuses all of their energy on live performances and culminating rich, sincere relationships with each and every fan. Pepper has sold over 400,000 records independently, their music has appeared in multiple movie and television soundtracks and they have had a number of album tracks appear on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Los Lonely Boys is a Grammy Award-winning rock band consisting of three brothers that combines elements of rock and roll, blues, country and soul.
